Can I use Invisible Sealer on Slate Tiles?

No, Slate tiles need surface protection and Invisible sealer only offers stain protection
Recommended sealers for Slate Tiles are: Top seal.

Can I use Invisible Sealer on Sandstone Tiles?

No, Invisible sealer can only be used on low porosity tiles.
Sandstone tiles are very porous. Three recommended sealers: Top seal, Seal n Boost Satin and Seal n Boost Matte

How long do I have to wait for the tiles to dry after cleaning?

Invisible Sealer – 48 Hours
Top Seal – 08 Hours
Smart Seal – 04 Hours
Seal n Boost Satin and Seal n Boost Matte – 24 Hours

How long do I have to wait for the sealer to dry in between coats?

Seal n Boost Satin, Seal n Boost Matte and Invisible Sealer- 2 Hours
Top Seal – 4 Hours

How long do I have to wait before I can traffic and clean the sealed area?

24 Hours before trafficking and 48 Hours before cleaning

What do I use to apply the sealer with?

The recommended applicator is the Tile & Floor Care Sheepskin applicator

What is the best method for application?

Acid wash with Grout off
Rinse with clean fresh water
Neutralize and degrease with Easy clean
Rinse until there are no more bubbles and residues of cleaners
Allow to dry – see label for drying times
Seal using the correct applicator and waiting the correct time in between coats
Acrylic / surface sealers = 2 to 4 coats
Penetrating sealers = 1 or more until the tile will not absorb any more sealer

What sealer can I use to seal Terrazzo tiles with?

Seal n Boost Satin, Seal n Boost Matte or Top Seal

What can I use to seal a marble counter top?

Invisible Sealer can be used to seal low porosity natural stone tops.
This prevents spillages like acid and oils from causing stains.
Invisible Sealer creates a more hygienic surface as it blocks the pores that could host bacteria.

How do I remove grout stains from cement floors?

Use Grout off ( dilute 1:30) and not stronger than 10:1 and use Easy clean afterwards to neutralize the surface.  Do not use grout off on Granite, Travertine and Marble.

What is the difference between Easy clean and Quick clean?

Easy clean is a powerful alkaline degreaser and neutralizer.
Easy clean must be diluted for general purpose cleaning
Cleans oil, greases and general grime
Easy clean also neutralize surfaces after been washed with acids
Quick Clean is an economical, hygienic and neutral cleaner for frequent tile cleaning
Quick Clean contains antibacterial additives and may be used on any tile and hard surface Pleasant fragrance and ultimate cleaner for every tiled floor

Is grout off necessary for cleaning cement & grout stains or can I clean with water?

Yes, Grout off is necessary. It is a special blend of acids & detergents specifically formulated to remove grout and mortar residues  ( which water can’t clean) – Porous & non-porous surfaces

Which cleaner can I use to clean sealed tiles with?

For General purpose periodic cleaning – use Easy clean
Easy clean is too powerful to use for regular cleaning
For every day cleaning – use Quick clean

What can I use to remove car oil from my paving

Easy clean can be used.  Paving can be sealed with Seal n Boost Satin and Seal n Boost Matte which will make cleaning much easier and keep oil & dirt from penetrating into the paving

Which cleaner can I use to remove shoe scuff marks / Pencil marks from my porcelain tiles?

Purge is a cleaner specially formulated to spot clean Porcelain tiles.
No dilution needed, wet the cloth and clean on the spot.

What can I use the remove Grout from Travertine tiles?

Easy clean can be used to clean the grout on Travertine, Marble & Granite tiles.

Why can I not use Grout Off on Travertine, Marble or Granite tiles?

Grout off contains acids which cause damage to Marble, Travertine & Granite tiles.

What do I use (applicator) when cleaning tiles with Grout off?

A scrubbing pad, scrubbing brush or hard bristle broom please make sure to wear safety gloves when cleaning with Grout off

Maxi Shine

I am looking for a long lasting, anti-slip polish?

Maxi shine is a long lasting, self-shining, anti-slip polymer polish.  Maxi shine is frequently used by contractors for a durable high gloss finish.  Maxi shine’s high polymer formula gives it superior life and performance.  Maxi shine is used whenever a gloss finish is required or where added surface protection is needed (over acrylic sealers etc.) Maxi Shine may only be used for interior applications. Suitable on all types of tiles

How many coats must be applied?

Only one coat is needed.

Will Maxi Shine change the color of the tile?

No, Maxi Shine will not enhance the color

Can I apply Sealer on top of Maxi Shine?

No, because maxi shine will block the pores and the sealer won’t be able to penetrate into the pores and bond with the tile. Will eventualy flake off.
Remove Maxi shine with polish stripper, clean with Easy clean, leave for 48 Hours to dry & apply sealer.
Maxi Shine can be applied 48Hours after sealing.

Do I dilute maxi shine before use?

In most cases no.  If a spray buff method is to be used then maxi shine can be diluted 4:1 with water. A lint free cloth, sheepskin applicator or wax pad can be used for application

Do I have to re-apply Maxi shine after every wash?

Only whenever you think the floor needs more gloss

How long does Maxi Shine last?

Maxi shine should last ± 3-4 months.
